    1. This week I've had a hard time dealing with the death of Whitney Houston. I, like many others, feel like they have lost a close family member. I haven't cried this much in a long time and find myself tearing up everytime I hear and see recaps of the funeral. My love for Whitney has been there since the first day I heard her voice when I was 8 years old. I remember singing her song "The Greatest Love of All" for a modeling competition years later but always got through hard times in my life with her music. Her voice is GOD! It's touched me in that way and I react from it in that way. I always hoped that she would recover from that which ailed her soul. I NEVER for one second blamed Bobby Brown for anything that Whitney was going through. She didn't make it but I know she made it as far as she was supposed to in this life and I'm grateful for having her by my side during my times of need.

We will always love her and the music she left us with~ May her family find comfort and solice during this incomprehensible time. My prayers are with them and her fans who, like myself, loved her dearly~ RIP Whitney Houston.
